Operation Christmas Child at New Beginnings

This Christmas, we’re coming together to bless children around the world through Operation Christmas Child! Whether you pack a shoebox or volunteer your time, there’s a place for you to be part of it. 🎁🤝

A Shoebox Can Make a Difference...

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that shares the hope of Jesus with children around the world through simple shoebox gifts. Each box is filled with toys, school supplies, personal care items, and other gifts—then delivered to a child as an expression of God’s love.

New Beginnings is coming together to be part of that mission. Whether you pack a shoebox, build one online, help collect boxes at our campus, or serve at the Processing Center, there are several ways to get involved.

Explore the opportunities below and find your way to be part of Operation Christmas Child this year.

Serve Opportunity

OCC Volunteer - Sunday Booth

Help our Operation Christmas Child team on Sundays at NBCC as we encourage our church family to get involved, answer questions, and support the shoebox collection. Volunteers will attend a brief meeting on Sunday, October 4 at either 8:30 AM or 10:00 AM before serving during the campaign.

Pack and Donate a Shoebox! In-person or Online

There are two easy ways to participate! You can pack a physical shoebox at home and drop it off in the collection cart located in the NBCC foyer, or you can build a shoebox online. With the online option, you can choose gifts and personalize a shoebox that will be packed and delivered through our Operation Christmas Child portal.
